Hanapepe

Hey you guys, TMAN here saying of my reflection about Hanapepe. It was a awsome while staying in Hanapepe especially hanging with Bryson, his brother, and his cousin and laughing at each others jokes. I really liked hanging out with Bryson youngest brudda because he had the attitude of my sister, dosen't care of what anyone says about him. The area wasn't the best shape that it was in but it still had something that all of us could use, friendship. No matter what we were doing, I think the best part of staying in the area of Hanapepe, was living like an ohana with each other. We each from different places and differents parts of Hawai'i but we all seem to get along alright. I think that the best night we had in Hanapepe, was the day we finished making the laulau and started cooking it. That night was the best night that I have ever had on the island of Kauai, in the town of Hanapepe. We were eating lots, lots, and lots of food and we were laughing, making smores, and started acting out in many ways. Ho!! Was Choke Fun!!! Hey you guys, thanks for supporting me when I was down at Koke'e, especially Kahea, Jennifer, Kayla, and Kealoha. Thanks a whole lot guys. TMAN IS OUT!!!!!!!!

When we first went to Hanapepe, it kind of reminded me of Wahiwa and the North shore side because of the little country/ farm feel it had. But staying with kumu malia's family was so much fun. I'm going to miss everyone there and they showed us so much aloha..

Staying at the Chus' hale in Hanapepe was such a treat. Not only were we experiencing the beauty of Kaua`i, but we also got to experience living in a typical 'ohana-oriented home. Our hosts were very `olu`olu and took great care of us! MAHALO NUI!!

My experience in Hanapepe was amazing. I guess you could say that it really has the feeling of old Hawai'i; everything was so quaint in Kaua'i! And don't worry about Koke'e Thomas, that's what we're all here for.

I miss Kumu Malia's Ohana.. I felt like they were my ohana too. The stay there was very heartwarming as well as fun and educational... I hope I can go back to visit.

Hey TMAN!!
Truthfully I thought Kaua'i was going to be totally boring, "what are we going to do for a whole week?" Then after the first couple days I was suprised at how much fun I was having getting to know my new family and how nice each and every person was and also how nice and welcoming Kumu Malia's ohana was. I felt at home. The food was great. I had a lof of fun touring the island and going on "field trips."
IT WAS AWESOME!!

Aunty Malia's family was great! I became close friends with her nephews Camden, Teston, and Bryson. We all had good fun, and I wish I can spend one more week there before we all go home.
