All I got to say, is that Hanalei all the way! It was gorgeous. Definitely one of the best places on the island. No wonder we were flooded by tourists. I felt like a tourist myself, so it was all good. Busting out my camera, I think I covered every square inch of that place. 1st stop was Ke'e beach. Is was a perfect sunny day, and like every tourist spot, there was no parking. We made it our duty to take the "no parking" spots. It was funny. There Kumu Malia told us about 'Ke Ahi Lele O Makana'. Fire brands were thrown off the cliffs to the men below

Then we went to the wet & dry caves of hanalei. It was pitch black, and full of spiders, and rocks, and lizards, oh my! Not really, just your average cave. It was huge. Then we saw a shave ice truck across the street. We couldn't resist. It was so hot, you can't blame us. I highly recommend the li hi mui mango.

The hanalei pier was the best though. It was hot and the view was great. The water was super freezing, but it was worth it. I did a flip too. It was so much fun. We all loved it, and have pictures to prove it.
Ya love me,
Saleena

I had soo much fun at Hanalei pier. Even though i never had any swimming clothes, i jumped off the pier anyway. It was my first time jumping off a pier and I had a lot of fun..even though i got sick after, i think it was so worth it. >.<
Hey Saleena! I totally felt like a tourist at Hanalei Pier too, but I was bummed when I couldn't jump inside. And even though it took you a "while," your flip was hilarious! I loved the shave ice too - it was tasty! Memories for a lifetime, seriously.
The pier was the best!! The water was so pristine and u`i. Definitely my newest favorite beach, although I don't have regular access to it! I also enjoyed the shave ice and croozing by the cave. That was awesome(:
I think if I had to really remember my favorite day it would be this day in Hanapepe. Not only Hanapepe Bay, but going to Waipa and making poi. I remember going to the Hanapepe Bay and seeing beautiful scenery of the mountains and waterfalls. I also remember that day that we had to waste time because their was traffic for some reason and we went to get lomilomi from aunty Betty, and then we went to eat pizza and pack for our flight early in the morninng to O'ahu..WHAT A LONG DAY!

I agree Hanalei by the bay was SUPER COOL!!! It was a great day for fun in the sun. The shave ice we had was refreshing. My favorite part in Hanalei would have to be jumping off the pier. One of the funnest parts I would have to say would be when we were taking our standing pictures off the pier. It felt like paparazzi because tourists were taking pictures of us. Funness!!
Love You!
SAM
HA SALEENA THAT WAS FUN JUMPNG OFF THE PIER...I THOUGHT YOU WEREN'T GONNA JUMP FOR A MOMENT
Hanalei Bay was awesome!!! Shave ice after a hard days work making poi at Waipa. All the way to a nice swim at the pier. I wish I could've jumped off the roof of the pier though, man wouldn't that have been fun.
